Since we started keeping bees, we’ve realised just how wonderful beeswax truly is. It can be used in many products, such as lip balms, food wraps, and furniture polish, to name a few. Beeswax candles also have several benefits, including burning cleanly, providing bright light, and helping to cleanse the air.
However, there are times when burning candles is not practical – such as:
- Due to health issues
- Safety concerns
- Or simply wanting something that lasts longer than a candle’s burn time
That’s why we set out to offer an alternative that can bring the beauty of beeswax into any home. What we came up with is our range of gorgeous luminaries. Each one is individually handcrafted by dipping the lantern into pure liquid beeswax between 15 to 20 times until it reaches the right consistency— sturdy yet thin enough to allow light to shine through.
Each luminary comes with your choice of a beeswax nightlight or an LED tea light to illuminate the luminary from the inside. We provide full care and safety instructions (which can also be downloaded here), and unlike candles, these luminaries can be enjoyed again and again.
We produce our luminaries to order, and because each part of the process is handcrafted, every luminary is truly unique. Our full product range is available here; all we need to know is:
